Contracts are West Wood’s objective layer — the reason experienced groups press G (PC) or Y/Triangle (console) within minutes of spawning. Without contracts, teams loot randomly until night arrives with no soul coin momentum and no shared plan. With contracts, you turn daylight into structured income and map coverage.

Opening the contracts menu

On PC, G opens contracts. Console maps the same action to Y or Triangle. Mobile players should locate the equivalent UI button in settings if bindings differ on their client. Full bindings live on PC Controls and Console and Mobile.

Why contracts matter for horror survival

Survival horror often ignores objectives — West Wood does not.
